Legal Recourse is Needed...

In the light of recent developments, such as the decision to demolish the Heymann Conservatory without a public hearing, it seems likely that some sort of legal recourse may be needed.

While we are fortunate enough to have the support of several legal experts who have volunteered their services for free, legal action still requires funds for filing costs and bonds. We appeal to all members of the public who are concerned at the recent activities in Audubon Park to support us by helping to fund such an action.

If you are able to help us contest the rampant disregard for public input consistantly displayed by the Audubon Institute, you can send a check to "Save Audubon Park" at the following address

Note

Save Audubon Park is a Louisiana Nonprofit Corporation. It is not organized for the financial benefit of Audubon Park, but is a public interest organization which sometimes opposes decisions made by the Audubon Commission and/or the Audubon Institute.
