Our inaugural cartoon was triggered by the outrageous actions of the Audubon Commission at their meeting
the previous afternoon, when, to our utter astonishment, the design drawings of the new clubhouse were presented for the first time
- and then unanimously approved for construction a mere half-hour later! When asked by a shocked audience member
"Don't you plan to even present these plans to the public?", Roger Ogden replied, in an exasperated tone: "We just did."
This was the same meeting in which Ron Forman referred to the public as being of inferior intelligence when compared
to an orangutang. Enough said.
