A letter to the Times-Picayune.

Ron Forman dismisses his opposition as "small group of complainers." However, these opponents are knowledgeable, concerned citizens.

They are comprised of botanists, horticulturists, bird watchers, landscape architects, architects, artists, educators and even golfers.

For Dale Stastny to say the golf course renovation is "consistent with John Charles Olmsted's concept" is a hoot.

This is another instance where an AI representative excludes the clubhouse development when commenting on the "golf course renovation."

How does a 7,800-square-foot clubhouse with parking lots, golf cart storage and lights fit Olmsted's desire to meld natural landscapes in one small green area?

I admire the perseverance and dedication of Save Audubon Park organization. It is people with this type of relentless and thankless determination who succeed in thwarting ill-laid plans of influential organizations.
